Meet Melissa Richardson, Au.D.

With over 30 years’ experience providing audiologic care to all ages from newborns to seniors, Dr. Richardson has proudly shared her passion for better hearing in a range of services:

Newborn hearing screening
Preschool screening and training for Head Start programs
Public school audiology
Hearing evaluations and assessments for vocational rehabilitation
Industrial and military hearing assessments
Public Health Newborn Hearing Screening Program hospital training
Implementation and management of outsource programs for newborn hearing screening — including electronic data management system development
Earplugs for musicians, hunters, swimmers, and industrial sound management
Dr. Richardson has presented on the state, national, and international levels in person and via poster sessions and has earned recognition including a national award from the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program. Outside the office, she enjoys family time with husband Tripp, their two children, and lovable doggo Daisy. They live in Hoover, Alabama, and are members of Riverchase United Methodist Church.
